Rogues Gallery: Superpower RPG

Rogues Gallery is a rules heavy tabletop RPG based on the D20 system, intended to be run by a Game Master for a group of 3-6 players. The core premise is to create and roleplay characters with superpowers in settings that have access to modern technology. Guidelines for running combat encounters, investigations, and skill trials are built into the system, providing Game Masters versatility when running the system.

The mechanics of Rogues Gallery are setting agnostic and have been specifically designed to roleplay scenarios based on:

• Action Fantasy
• Cold War/Espionage Fiction
• Superhero Fantasy
• Urban/Paranormal Fantasy

Included in the playtest are the core rules of the game and the details for character creation. There are 14 class origins which provide templates for players to build their characters, organized by theme. These classes are further broken down into 55 distinct archetypes.

The playtest also includes 50+ Npc statblocks, providing the statistics for an diverse assortment of humans, superhumans, monsters, and machines for the GM to use when running the game.

Finally, a playtest adventure, 'The Golden Age', is included which details events surrounding a group of player characters volunteering their time at a care facility for retired superheroes. This adventure showcases the different rulesets used in the game, and can serve as a starting point for Game Masters looking to learn the system or to introduce it to a group.
